I started putting together a website for myself back in November 2024. but I've failed to mention it here. it'll become my main hub for art once i get everything i've posted on it archived. it'll take some time. I am enjoying the process tho, so i don't mind. here's the link: devilgrey.com

I recently decided to archive my instagram, in-depth reasons why are posted on the account and my bear blog. essentially, i just want to cut down where i post art, and limit the amount of time i spend on social media.

Also started storing my deviantart posts too. i've not used it since 2022 and everything will get archived on the new site anyways.

ngl wish i would've re-uploaded more of my old art here when i initially joined ng in 2020. feels a little too late to do it now. i have a lot on deviantart that isn't cross posted elsewhere, and some other older art that i still find neat. i may end up posting the non-crossposted-deviantart-stuff on my tumblr archive at least.

Deleted it because its been like what? 2 years with no updates or posts, it's just been sitting empty. Never had motivation to re-upload everything onto it. then pillowfort's always on the brink of not having enough funding which didn't help my motivation. In general, i just don't have the willpower to learn anymore social media sites, or up-keep more than i already have. TBH i'd rather put the work into creating my own site than shuffling off to a another social media.

The past year i've really stepped away from SM, even outside of art. spent more of my time elsewhere. It's nice not being absorbed in it all the time. Social media can be a real time sink. I'd rather cut away from it than add more to the list.

i've decided to upload some of my nsfw fanart to ao3 too. might aswell use that site instead of letting it rot. oneday i'll get to posting on pillowfort...

so end of last month i deleted my twitter and privatter. just trying to trim down the number of platforms i post on. since privatter contained my nsfw art, i'll end up reuploading it here. may just post them in batches together bc all of it's like from 2021 now
